A large camp will be layed out into several company quarters with each company an integral part of a hierarchical military structure. For example each company will be a "Fähnlein," each with its own camp area. The commanders will then be assigned who then again will delegate their lieutenants.
From the top down, there will be a Colonel (Obrist) with his Lieutenant Colonel (Locotenent) with their staff of orderlies and bodyguards.
There will be a camp Judge (Schultheiß) with his staff, a Watch and Ward Guard (Wachmeister), Quartermaster (Quartiermeister) and Provost (MP) (Profoß) with his Bailiff (Stockmeister) and staff of constables.
Each "Fähnlein" will have its own Captain (Hauptmann), Lieutenant (Leutnant), Ensign (Fähnrich), Sergeant Major (Feldweybel), Sergeants (Weybel), Forager (Fourier), Chaplain (Kaplan), Scribe (Schreiber), Barber Surgeon (Feldscher), Drummer (Trommler) and Piper (Pfeiffer), Line Leaders (Rottmeister), Color Guards (Trabanten), etc.
All these offices and positions will be filled by you.
In camp the directions of the commanding officers are to be followed. For example, if the Provost calls for peace and quiet in the tavern, there should be better some peace and quiet. Otherwise, the bailiff and his staff will ensure the “rioters” are duly disciplined in chains.
